The Eta Beta brand
The Italian brand Eta Beta, which releases only the women’s summer collection each year, crafts its designs using exclusively natural-fiber fabrics. Dresses, blouses, and tops are made by selecting the finest qualities of cotton gauze, in various weights and levels of transparency depending on the style, but always equally light and soft.
From the characteristic crinkled pleated crepe to the orange peel-look gauze, all the fabrics used are ideal for creating cool, comfortable summer garments. They require no ironing, are practical to wear, and perfect for packing in a suitcase, combining elegance and functionality.
The most iconic hallmark of the Eta Beta line is the use of the Javanese batik technique to dye patterned fabrics. This ancient craftsmanship is reinterpreted with a contemporary twist, giving each creation a unique and original touch, with a minimalist yet elegant style.
Every single garment is one-of-a-kind, and some minor differences or irregularities are inherent to the artisanal manufacturing process that sets it apart from mass-produced items.
Far from being aimed at a mass audience, the Eta Beta line is designed for customers who value quality and originality, those who wish to stand out with an exclusive garment, produced in limited editions thanks to the precious work of skilled artisans.
The entire production process takes place in Indonesia, on the island of Bali, where Italian creativity and modeling school merge with Asian techniques and patient craftsmanship. The result is the product of a collaboration between artists, pattern makers, and meticulous artisans from both continents.
